What's the new crypto application beyond "get rich quick" that you are the most excited about ?

That's difficult, as you would still have to trust that you and the person you are trading with share the same available information about the trade.

No one's forcing someone else to trade. Particularly onchain. Information can never be epistemically "the same". Sovereignty is sufficient to allow for just interactions. I guess I gloss over misrepresentations (fraud). Society has produced multiple ways to deal with it, including some methods that are antithetical to brypto

The only major gainer in this bull run are conmen putting lipstick on a pig to make it look like the perfect bride. The biggest UX innovations nowadays are targeted to increase the volume of exit liquidity. P.S.: Indeed, no one's forcing someone else to trade, however lying about the actual value of what you are trading is illegal in a lot of countries, whether it is a fake Rolex or a memecoin - misrepresentation or fraud ;-) .

I agree with your assessment, and have rotated out of ETH for related reasons. Some positive projects, along the lines of enabling mutually beneficial trade that would be much harder without brypto: * /poidh by @kenny and @rhovian * @bountycaster by @linda and @pirosb3 On the connections side (which is a prereq to trade), with significant UX innovations even if they appear to the user to be smooth as butter: * warpcast + lens * /quidli by @ahn.eth and team * Megaphone by @thatguyintech @unhappiimochii @keikumata
