I def wont' be sharing this with my mom. I've barely managed to get her started on building a habit of hitting the gym. Would prefer if she does weights but baby steps.

Thats amazing. I'm the opposite. I had horrible what ppl call work-life balance but reality is I was build on endorphins. when inspo strikes I just hit it for 8hrs and how I got through school, uni (3.8gpa in comp sci) and even work. I had to go bk last year and build habits -- - went full pescetarian mode, already considered healthy but I took it to the extreme. cook all my food but I have automations in place. same recipe but diff lentils. - walk 10k steps by picking the path to the subway that takes 20 mins. the walking/music is a godsend. - gym everyday even if its to just do 2 reps. females recover quicker so its better to hit 45 mins vs 1.5hrs every 2 days. p.s working for yourself requires a lot more discipline apparently. lucky I picked something I love to do -- build software and working in web3, most days its what gets me out of bed. Its non-conscious behavior. not unconscious. and it actually frees me up more than doing things when I want.
