People want to buy frames for 500$ but forget that updating and keeping up with Frames V2 change so you get the latest features is 500$ per week of maintenance in polish and comm work already. I am sorry if I can't build everyone's frame, but the enduser experience and your experience working with us matters! I'll always be available for debugging, I just can't take all the dev load. Sadly no free dev time I can access at the company (dTech) besides my own, everyone else is paid. If you have a budget to build the best frames, reach out. though you need to watch the spec, update the spec and align with business goals. e.g. when notifications come as feature it's not just adjusting the spec. It's building a notification suite. Once swaps come it's if you do them, decide to switch or not. Decide if you now want to incorporate swaps etc. That comms & decision work is more important than pure technical upgrades

💯 I agree, but there has to be design patterns that can make these upgradable specs useful across all frames and apps. I’m thinking something like a codemod but maybe it’s not as simple. like why can’t a single person design a notification suite can be useful at scale.

yeah i wasn’t saying you had to do it. i just meant we as a platform should be building things that can go from frame v2 to frame v3. it can be a bounty funded by farcaster. but the intent is these deltas shouldn’t be a lot of work in the age of AI and it should be built in a scalable reusable way.
