Honestly, I’m already sending payments on chain internationally. PayPal adopting onchain transactions is a much likely outcome then trying to convert people to join dapps.

Will they? Kind of defeats their business model yeah. So idk.🤷‍♀️

stable coins on L2s are also cheap/free so still defeats their biz model. Who benefits from holding USDC? the customer or the coinbase/circle = issuer?

agree, these pure payment processors are def gonna get disrupted in their current biz lines, which is why the stablecoin route makes sense for em in the short term imo
