So true mate. You can’t be happy externally if you are not happy internally 🙏💙

It’s a delicate balancing between being there for your family but also taking time for yourself so that you can really be there for your family.

I mean, okay, but "be happy" is not really advice someone can follow. If someone isn't happy, they probably need some help.

Yes, but can be hard in practice. Like when I'm exhausted, and have to say the same thing for the 90th time, I probably don't sound too happy about it. That's where I end up down the parent guilt spiral.

This is one of the great truths. 

Once you realise life is short, you realise it’s best not to waste it being unhappy. 

Choose happy is like choose rich but 1000x more potent.
