What makes you say that about Beeple and politics? Do you mean because there’s always content there to comment on?

maybe a better term would be like social art or commentary art? 

i think he mostly leans that direction bc after thousands of days it’s hard to get inspiration from something specific to make a piece, but there is always something happening in the space or societally which gives infinite subject matter to make work based around
