Wow what a few days

I've had a chance to look through my emerging collection ... and I am not happy!  I don't think the ideas are as well expressed as I had imagined.

This is an interesting moment for me.  I've never put so much work into an idea before, to get so far, and then to find it a bit flat.

I'm going to sit on things for a week or two and then re-evaluate.

No effort is wasted ... it's all learning.

These four are ok

I was hoping for a larger collection though - there are a dozen other images that don't work, from a shortlist of 50 or so images that didn't quite work!! 

The theme is my usual - minted art rendered physical, so working with texture, reflection, combustion, interaction - all things that can't be done by digital art on digital screens
