No, I don't think punks are in the public mind at all.  Here's my google search

I guess I was thinking more "people who actually use cryptopunks as pfps, known to people who play with NFTs"

My feeling is that you see more Hoodies in the wild vs punks and apes, so they therefore take up more mindshare, and that hoodies are one of the strongest traits to crossover into other collections in an accessible way

mfers have aliens, apes and hoodies for example, but virtually noone ever sees an alien or ape as they're so rare

So.  All three of your choices have great arguments for them.  If you treat Mona Lisa like a meme, then I still vote for Hoodie punk.
