Covenant is a series by Emily Edelman that explores handcrafted pixel art inspired by medieval illuminated manuscripts, intertwining two uppercase letters to create ornate yet low-fidelity designs. 

Using a custom drawing tool, the artist mimics the meticulous, hand-drawn nature of medieval scribes while exploring the evolution of typography across time. 

This series, launched on SuperRare in July 2024, reflects a blend of historical calligraphy and digital media, highlighting the persistence of text through different eras and technologies.
