yeah I don’t think we have seen very many truly thoughtful critiques. I think I could write something compelling for both sides of the argument, but to me you’re either down for permissionless systems or you’re not. if the former, you won’t like everything people do with the infra and that’s okay. if the latter, then why are you even here?

to me the only real rebuttal to memecoins is to build an incredibly successful crypto app that leaves pure speculation in the dust. it just so happens that speculation is a pretty good use case, so this is really damn hard.

hard problems are good, worth solving.
