thinking resources as ERC-1155 with game ID and type encoded into the token ID. then people can use seaport or whatever existing contracts to trade resources before a turn ends

if willing to deviate from stock rules, it would be cool to make resources more like a Factory. Imagining a new primitive that you can use to mint resources on their turn. Wouldn't be opposed to cutting d-cards either, adds a lot of implementation complexity and it's crypto-economically uninteresting IMO

interesting, and yes would definitely be willing to deviate for more interesting results/ux (e.g. I did chess as 6x6) :)

I was wondering if there could be something interesting with resources that aren't just scoped to the game (so something I earned in previous games can somehow be applied/used/etc. in future games)

definitely. ideally, avoiding throwing resource balance/etc. out of whack. one idea there could be to auction off placement spot / order v. the traditional snake ordering (with some sort of points which persist game to game)

imagine building on the "will trade Future Ore" dynamic and representing those debts as redeemable NFTs which persist game to game 😂

this idea will produce more DeFi innovation than the last eight years of research
