🔹Media: SEC may approve the launch of spot ETH-ETFs by July 4

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may approve spot ETH-ETFs as early as July 4, as negotiations between issuers and the regulator have reached the final stage. 

On May 23, the SEC approved 19b-4 filings from issuers of spot Ethereum ETFs. Trading will begin after the agency signs registration statements on Form S-1. Earlier, the head of the Commission, Gary Gensler, refused to give the exact timing of the launch of the products, but emphasized that the process of reviewing applications was “going smoothly.”
