Ostium is an onchain decentralized trading platform for real world assets like gold, oil, forex, and stock indices. It allows users to trade perpetual contracts without intermediaries or restrictions. Built on Ethereum Layer 2, it ensures fast and secure settlement with full transparency. Users maintain full custody of their funds, making it censorship resistant and trustless. The platform was launched in October 2024 and is founded by Harvard graduates with experience at Bridgewater Associates. Ostium aims to democratize access to macro asset trading through a crypto-native interface. I think it’s a powerful and promising platform, and I’ve just discovered it thanks to @dwr.eth cast. 💙🔥
