I got a new hydrangea today! It's one with very dark leaves and bright flowers, absolutely stunning! 😍

Dang, that's an insane colour combination! Wow, what's this variety called? Looks beautiful. The dark leaves are really special too, don't often see that!

Right? I had never seen it before! It's the Hydrangea macrophylla 'Eclipse'. I believe it's one of the few where they can be in the sun without the leaves getting lighter or getting burned. Hopefully, it'll grow as big as my other hydrangea 🤞🏻

That's amazing, going to keep my eye out for Eclipse... that just looks like such a stonker. We only have two hydrangea right now, one in a container the other in the ground. But they're lovely plants. Keep us updated as to how it performs this season (and obviously winter will be the hardest test!)

I will cry if she dies in the winter.😂 Hopefully, she'll survive! My other hydrangea always comes back even more beautiful, so hopefully, this one will too! I never really used to be a big fan of hydrangea's, but I came to appreciate them. Hell, I even love them now, haha 😂 Definitely let me know if you get one

Same here, they were always just mid-plants for me at first, but nowadays I really love them. Great coverage, lovely flowers, and great structure in the winter if you leave the flowers on them, it lasts forever!

Right? Funny how we can appreciate certain plants suddenly, haha.
