Wow, I never realised this was such an exact art! Thanks Tracyit... I do like them as you've pictured, so I'll definitely give that a try!

These were overcooked for the softboil I love

But I bring a pot of water to a boil. Slip in the lil eggs for 7mins, 30 seconds under cold water and voila.  If you want them like these, between soft and hard it took me about 30sec to get to them after the timer went off.  

For perfect hard boil it’s all diff.  Put em in cold, bring to a boil and let boil for 3 min. Then turn off the heat and cover for 10 min. Perfect every single time.
