The idea of reducing government spending is a great one, but why should this reduction in government expenses target social services? Defense budgets are spent on producing outdated and unnecessary equipment that doesn't even enhance national security. Government contracts often involve projects that either never get completed or face costs that are several times over the original budget. Subsidies are allocated to industries like oil and gas, despite these companies being highly profitable. Subsidy programs, which should benefit low-income industries, often end up going to companies and individuals who don't even need them. And countless other examples. If all this isn't in the interest of internal mafias, then what is it? Many of these excessive expenditures continued even under Trump’s administration. Yet, where do they ultimately find the strength to cut costs? Social services—precisely the area that should see an increase in funding!
