The United States is weak in the face of new missile powers with the capability to launch hypersonic missiles! Recently, China has also increased its stockpile of hypersonic missiles. If a war breaks out between China and the U.S., and NATO and European countries get involved, what will happen? Will the war escalate into a nuclear conflict, or will the U.S. easily accept China as the new global superpower? Even if a nuclear conflict doesn’t occur, will U.S. soil remain safe like it did during World War I and II? https://nationalinterest.org/feature/next-steps-missile-defense-214228#:~:text=The%20Missile%20Defense%20Agency%20has,operational%20forces%20and%20other%20partners.

Those who believe that China won't sacrifice its economy for military matters should be reminded that: China has previously shown that it is willing to sacrifice its economy for military issues (as seen with its pursuit of nuclear weapons and U.S. sanctions), so I don’t see sanctions as a strong leverage. Moreover, an economic defeat for China against the U.S. is currently unlikely, but the confrontation between these two countries is inevitable.
