Recently, a contract was signed between Japan and the U.S. to counter unilateral foreign aggression against Japan, aiming to raise the cost of attacking Japan so that no country would take such a risk. What exactly happened that made Japan consider this? Russia’s secret plans to target Japan and Korea between 2013 and 2014 were revealed, showing a focus on 82 key targets: Japan: energy infrastructure, major transportation hubs, and nuclear power plants. South Korea: bridges, industrial facilities, and nuclear power plants were identified as some of the most important key targets. Additionally, China’s hostile plans against Japan have contributed to Japan’s significant military budget increase and its move toward military support agreements.

Any country with which the United States makes such agreements is going to be attacked in the future
