XRP Falls Despite Ripple's Victory Over SEC
Despite Ripple Labs' recent legal win against the SEC, XRP's price continues to struggle. On June 13, a California court ruled in favor of Ripple, dismissing major allegations that it violated securities laws. However, a minor allegation will go to trial, and the SEC is seeking $102.6 million in fines, far less than the $2 billion initially demanded.

Contrary to expectations, XRP's price fell 3.55% to around $0.47 in the past 24 hours and remains 88% below its 2018 all-time high of $3.8. Since early June, XRP has lost 4.52% of its value, underperforming other major cryptocurrencies. This case highlights the unpredictability of the crypto market, where even positive news may not boost investor interest.
