I’m glad this app uses shades of purple.

The charity I founded, A Stage Reborn, started with heavy MMORPG-utility arts programming so when we started picking colors we did something a bit silly.

We use a vibrant purple accent color often we call “AOE Purple”. Specifically uses the hexidecimal “A0E” or “AA00EE”. This was a play on the battle mechanic jargon “area of effect” where something will use an ability an impact a radial target area. “Making arts more accessible should be a global AOE.”

And here we are 10 years later still using AOE Purple! Seeing Farcaster purple themed has made me feel very at home here too, especially with all the support and encouragement the community brings. 

Purple is power.
