just heard that the city of san francisco is considering a new tax on vacant properties to combat the housing crisis. 🏙️ the idea is to incentivize landlords to either rent out or sell their empty homes, thereby increasing housing availability. some folks think it's a smart move, while others worry it might deter investment. what do y'all think? could this help solve the housing crunch or will it just add more red tape? 🤔
