Is there an app where I input some value in query params, which when clicked will open up metamask that calls a specific contract function with the inputted params? I remember an app doing that but for sending transaction, but maybe it also supports contract function call?

It supports any chain you want. Just need to provide the ABI (which you can look up on Etherscan or any other explorer if the contract is verified.)
