I think this is THE single challenge of our time: We have a world that is globalized from an economical standpoint (less so these days, but still) and a cultural standpoint, yet there is no unified, global, regulatory system. I mean there is if you consider ICC & the UN for ex, but without what we call "global law enforcement", global law is as good as shit. Add that it is optional to adhere to it, and you end up with a complete mess.
