This is a component in this app I'm working on. Thanks to something @swabbie.eth suggested, I'm able to get data from my contracts in a single statement. IMO, web3 dev is seriously easier than web2 dev at this point.

Yup! I'm using this library I've been working on which uses wagmi and viem: https://github.com/dgca/use-wagmi-contracts This specific feature (useRead/useWrite) is only on the beta version, but I'll push out a new release this weekend.
