I love passionfruit flowers. I don’t know what’s going on with my new plants though. They flower but don’t fruit. I bought male and female plants so they should pollinate fine. Anyone else have other ideas?

Passionfruit rely on specific pollinators like carpenter bees or other insects. If your area lacks them —or if weather conditions (like rain or wind) are keeping them away—you might not be getting proper pollination. You could try hand-pollinating the flowers yourself: use a small brush or cotton swab to collect pollen from the male flowers and transfer it to the female ones.

Also temperature and soil play a big part. And if they are very young, it could take some time before they start proceeding fruit.
