Why reading books is better than watching movies, like Harry Potter?

1. When you read, you decide how fast you understand things, but in a movie, the director decides, so you can't control the pace.

2. The pictures you see in your head while reading come from your imagination, but in a movie, they depend on what the actors show you, limiting your own imagination.

4. People often see movies for fun and books for learning. Your brain relaxes when watching a movie and works harder when reading, making reading more productive.

5. A movie has one fixed version with actors and scenes. A book, with only words and your imagination, can be different for each reader.

3. When you read, you really need to focus, but with movies, you can sometimes be lazy and just watch without being active in your thinking.
