millions are dying because people don't like believing truth if it is not mainstream we hold beliefs that harm us closer to the heart than advice of strangers that genuinely want to help us in most cases people will respond with hate when you try to help them unless you're in canada canada is cool

How do you know if the truth is right for you? There’s a lot of biases out there and truth can sometimes be skewed towards certain POVs. In the case of advice: How do you examine your existing belief/truth and with the ones suggested by the advice?

there are no absolute rights or wrongs, it is a range that is constantly shifted by science e.g. how do you know that smoking is bad for you? now imagine the same question in 80s and how the answer differed as for examining beliefs, any rational way of doing so will suffice
