What monitor setups are you guys devving on? Went from dual monitors to an ultrawide for a few weeks. Wasn’t my jam and back on dual monitors. The search for the perfect setup continues….

Would recommend having one monitor vertical for docs, message threads, etc. I was skeptical but it’s super useful

Same here Now on one 4k one 2.5k and the macbook pro for chat and slack. Both displays IPS as I did not like diferent color renditions or bad viewing angles. The ultrawide was okeyish but like the fact that I can have many virtual screens / desktops on each of them for fast switching to other servers / terminal screens or virtual machines on more displays

Widescreen straight ahead and single vertical side monitor to the left. Gives me dual setup but most of my work is just on the widescreen. Second monitor is for non active windows (slack, discord, music, tabs I’m reading for work on main monitor) Here’s a picture of the old setup in our last house

Not devving but research for work that sometimes requires up to 6 windows open 2x 27in 4k monitors in portrait orientation flanking the 42in 4k monitor in landscape orientation Also not bad for art

I would like to try using a squarer monitor, like a 5:4, but they are very rare. The HUAWEI MateView is one of the good 5:4 models, according to reviews.
