tested for the first time today, pretty impressed

need to use it more for to give a final verdict but feels like it can at least 2x productivity on many tasks (vs other IDE AI assistants)

Claude Code is blowing my mind, it feels at least 10x more powerful than the closest alternative - especially for complex, multi-step tasks

it's really expensive compared with most other options (I burn ~$5 per hour w/ it) but definitely worth it

Give me the TLDR on how this is different to Cursor IDE?

Building /veil - ZK Privacy Protocol for Base

I feel like the latter he mentioned is exactly what agent mode in Cursor AI can do. I’ve used a successfully across multiple files and for a task.

I must try Claude code though, cause I’m sure there has to be a difference. 

This is the most confusing part of AI code I think knowing what does what.

Cursor IDE is great at helping with a specific file / function - tabs to autocomplete stuff, highlight and ask to edit a specific part, chat, etc.

Claude Code is more like a dev you give tasks to, e.g. "refactor the activity feature in this repo and make it do X" - on its own it will start working across multiple files, check that there are no typescript or eslint errors, prepare a commit for you, etc. It doesn't always get 100% right on its first try but it gets 95% right in the cases I've used it in, and the last 5% are just a matter of asking it to adjust specific things once or twice
