Jerome Powell took the stage and... surprised no one. Like the protagonist of a movie whose ending you already know, the Fed decided to keep interest rates unchanged. The market already knew it, had discounted it, and today only confirmed the script. Reassurance? Yes. Excitement? Not very much. But in economics, sometimes not moving is also moving well.
