I think portal network clients also target RPi class compute node.

I am guessing with enough work portal network can be run on microcontrollers

I don’t think code storage is the problem. 

The knowledge of the code base gets embedded in the issue interface and other stuff surrounding the git repo which is difficult to get out

many of these humanoid robot companies might go kaput after a while…

atleast these attempts will generate information about what works
