Lets talk about the famous Power Badge  requirement and the many complains! 

On Web2 platforms verification depends on folllowers count, Web3 uses a PB earned by creating valuable content that engages the community. 
While this ensures a higher quality user base, i know and understand it can feel like burden/ entry barrier for newcomers.

Lets take a few step back warpcast has a goal of been a leading social  platform. 

However, it might seem that their stricter rules are damaging their onboarding process, but actually there rules are in place for a reason. 

If you establish a strong foundation with high quality users who contribute meaningfully, it becomes easier to identify and remove bad actors later on. 

Its basically akin of training responsible citizens in a new digital nation.

The ones that pass the test get reward by with a power badge, but a power badge can also be taken away if you become a less desirable citizen.

Interesting topic. Is it better to pay to have your account verified or to earn your Power Badge through daily efforts and high-quality content?

I don’t have a problem with the idea, but WHO decides what is quality? The problem is with the way this system works

When I started here and didn't know anyone, I cast and didn't receive any likes. But I learned to navigate this space. You have to be interested in others and it's others who decide if your content is good, meaning everyone.

Yes, the idea is good. But it doesn’t work like that. For new people now it’s almost impossible to be seen because you are basically shadow banned. Also, people researched and found that non active users have PB while very active good people loose theirs. Some things definitely doesn’t work well in the system and I hope there’s a way to fix it so the good idea will be implemented in its full potential

This is my FID, which means that before me, there were over 280,000 users. However, at first, I didn't have any PBs and I didn't have any friends. I wanted to post my art and become known like on Twitter, but that's not what is expected here. Today, I have managed to create a network four times larger than what I had on Twitter in three years, and I did it in just four months. I spent hours understanding the Channels, being interested in others, posting my work to support other artists, discovering certain apps, being interested in what others create, commenting, and in parallel, building my artistic project.

Yeah I get that and that’s also what I’m trying to do. But there are people here doing the same and not getting PB and also the opposite. I admit I don’t fully understand everything but there’s seems to be some flaws in the system and I want to believe it will be fixed
