Something I've been reflecting on:
Attention spans are shrinking, and that's bad news for artists who rely on people taking the time to engage deeply with their work. Social media, already far from ideal for showcasing art, often reduces pieces to fleeting moments on a screen.

And now, this Rodeo trend—displaying a grid of 9 works at once—is making things worse. If you're lucky, you might catch a tiny glimpse of one piece.

What’s next? Reducing each artwork to a single pixel?
