I'm overwhelmed with relief to share that after 23 days in the ICU, my father has finally opened his eyes today. It's been a harrowing journey with a severe bladder infection, pneumonia, and a long period of intubation. While signs of awareness are a hopeful step, challenges remain.

His kidneys are malfunctioning, and the road to recovery will require physiotherapy, round-the-clock care, and coordination with my younger sister and brother.
