The MoZ podcast with Liel Leibovitz was fascinating. Liel shared his opinion that “Silicon Valley universalism is not the only doctrine that can innovate, traditionalism can too”. I mostly disagree. The best movement for innovation is *inherently* globalist tech optimism. It’s a more popular, modern religion.

I think @dwr.eth would agree; @antonio stayed neutral yet affirmed most successful Israelis startups are closer to the Silicon Valley tribe. Especially with the “religious” aspect that owning crypto psychologically brings, my bet is that tech universalism’s identity will become stronger than ever before. CC @erik

Channeling Liel (and other pro-particularists like him), he would say that the path to universalism likes in particularism. What that means is that you can find better cultural parallels (and empathy) by building strong intra-tribe bonds, and seeing how other tribes do the same (rather than imposing universalism).
