The @siborg application, which allows listening to Twitter Spaces, sells the ownership of its advertising spaces. Anyone can hold the exclusive right to submit an advertisement displayed as a result of a given search term.
Sponsors bet on the growth of the application's audience and thus on the marketing value of the ad spaces they hold. For SiBorg, the advantage is being able to fund itself independently. And SiBorg retains control to accept or reject submitted ads, everyone wins!
