Arthur Hayes, co-founder of financial services and cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX, has predicted that the price of Bitcoin will reach an astronomical peak during this market cycle.
Hayes stated that Bitcoin could reach $1 million in about a year. He attributed the price increase to the massive expansion of the money supply by governments.
He believes that the world is transitioning to a new financial system and that the elite will resist this change and print more money. Hayes estimates that the current bull market will continue until 2026 or 2027.
He also noted that despite the recent price drops of some altcoins, the total value of the cryptocurrency market has increased over the past 12 to 18 months, indicating a continuation of the upward trend.
