On December 23, Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US saw $226 million in outflows, while Ethereum (ETH) ETFs saw $130 million in inflows on the same day. The trend began on December 19 and has seen more than $1.1 billion exit Bitcoin ETFs so far. GrayScale’s GBTC fund played a major role in the decline, selling 1,870 BTC in three days. Analysts believe that this capital movement could signal the start of alt season. Increased capital inflows into Ethereum staking contracts and positive technical indicators also reinforce this view.

On December 23, Bitcoin ETFs saw $226M outflows, while Ethereum ETFs gained $130M. Over $1.1B has exited Bitcoin ETFs since Dec. 19, driven by GrayScale's sale of 1,870 BTC. Analysts suggest this may mark the start of alt season, supported by rising ETH staking and positive trends.
