Franklin Templeton has filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a Solana-focused exchange-traded fund (ETF). This proposed ETF aims to track the spot price of Solana and would be listed on the Cboe BZX Exchange. Coinbase has been selected as the custodian of the fund's Solana holdings. This move reflects the growing interest among asset managers in diversifying cryptocurrency investment options beyond Bitcoin.
