I recently tried to integrate the new expo-video package into Warpcast (currently using expo-av) but ran into an issue that blocked my progress:

rendering a single player instance into multiple VideoViews working in iOS but not Android

this is useful for building a press to expand full screen player with custom controls since using the same instance means the in feed player and full screen player stay in sync and don't use 2x the resources
