imagine if an industry had spent decades experimenting with ways to invest in startups and alllll the lessons — what worked, what didn’t, what’s still broken — were out in public for us to learn from so we could not only build better but build faster. imagine! too bad we have to start from scratch

also whatever happened to @larrybot? last i can recall (not saying this is reality, only my impression) there was FUD and PvP about it. bummed it wasn’t embraced bc it was an informed iteration; it recognized pain points of base launchpads and offered good solutions to address them. need more of that, not less.

i’m not following and don’t necessarily understand what point you’re making? usually doing > talking. i can’t tell if youre suggesting the opposite by saying a blogpost (talking) would be been more “ethical.” why are you mentioning ethics? iterations and competition are net positive for industries.
