Update on OPERATION: NO XANAX I quit Xanax on December 28, 2023. Last night, I went to sleep with only magnesium, and my 2 (other regular) prescriptions. At some point, I was taking 12 pills to shut my brain off. I was probably also killing it. This wasn't an easy battle, but it was worth it. Quitting isn't about the first day you decide to quit. It's about every other day you fight to stay "quit." If I can do this, anyone can 🫡

Xanax probably one of the most insane drugs; the body builds a tolerance very fast and it’s impossible not to be physically addicted — iirc if you stop cold turkey it can be fatal, so typically folks have to ween themselves off I’ve seen it ravage one of my parents, family members, and friends Congrats and keep it up, it is not easy

It took me a year to taper off xanax safely. It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done, but I knew it was 1000% necessary I have always been open about sharing this journey, and I hoped I could help others. I know sharing it, helped me immensely. This is what it took to quit 🫡
