your superiority complex is not subtle at all.

we're totally picking up how all you chums scratching each others backs look down on the ecosystem. 

you amplify this "builder" dogwhistle until it seems normal to zero out as many participants as possible, then retreat to snobby leisure.

Adding the best to your team is not a superiority complex. It's only logical.
