Weird is subjective, casting in warpcast is definitely weird to all but 4k pb users and w.e the dau # actually is.
Questioning anything is fun for a lot of people, whether it be for engagement,shitposting or philosophical reasons! Even after something has shown tremendous success people question it.
What metrics determine web3 social success, 250 mill dau, 250k dau, abolishing all web2 socials!?

its mostly engagement farming when they try to combine such opposing followers (for and agianst) with one simple question and the answers dont really matter in the short or medium term timeframes.

tbh it's really not. this is now an afterthought following twitter activities for most. and like much of crypto, it's in a vacuum
