my humble takeaways from /ethcc: - the location: oh well I didn't have a bad experience with Brussels BUT it was not my 1st time there and I have local friends. I've heard numerous stories of people being robbed/seeing these situations happening. Next time we're going to Cannes, and I think it's a good call - women in the space: YESS /berachain baddies event was the highlight of my trip. This year I attended many events for girls and newbies in the space, which made my heart melt! the other side was men who were scaring baddies with their attitudes lol. means we still have a long way to go BUT WE'RE GETTING THERE 1/5

- the main event was kinda shit and I don't think I'm doing it next year too fragmented, the building was too big, the panels were not it, food was SOLD OUT and the queues were MASSIVE. Never happened in Paris, bearish vibes My personal highlight during the main event was only seeing old friends and meeting @kugusha.eth in person! So maybe still kind of worth it... 2/5

— cut costs Tbh I felt like the costs were really cut this year. Also for the after party event, etc. Last year in Paris gave me bullish vibes, this year… not so much. Weird or sold out food, paid odd swag… Not sure — side events Past year, this year, next year I’d be going to side events all along. It’s not about panel discussions but always about the best network and connections This year events from /lido and /1inch were just next level, raave and bera had super nice parties I’ve heard about how there were way too many side events and I kind of agree with that but the size of Brussels made going from one event to another 3/5

— FC events! I still have FOMO about the AFK event but I attended (or at least tried) most of FC events and I must say I’m just glad I did It was refreshing to talk about personal experiences with fellow farecasters, meet people you talk to every day irl and FC meetups was something that I was very much looking forward to during my trip thanks /fcc 4/5

— common takes I’ll not say common takes like ‘we don’t have enough dapps’ or ‘zk is not trending’, you probably have X for these insights Imo we all definitely struggle: we still have a long way to go in terms of good conferences, usable dapps, newbies onboarding and making web3 a better space for all 5/5
