What amount of ETH would you consider to be an "Ethereum penny"?

would be the equivalent in that it's the smallest denomination, but not in the way it's used/recognized, because $0.01 is a unit that can be conceived/held but  10^-18 Ether isn't - so I look for a conceptual equivalent
