This was the time to sell, when everyone was euphoric.

Now is the time to buy, when everyone is panicking. 

Needless to say, buys should be spot. Avoid leverage.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. When everyone is hyped up and buying like crazy, it's definitely a good time to sell and lock in those gains. But when everyone is freaking out and selling like mad, that's when you should be looking to scoop up some deals. And yeah, definitely keep it spot with the buys and stay away from leverage. Can't afford to be taking on unnecessary risks in this volatile market.
