Exploring Monad Testnet – A Journey into a Promising Layer-1 Blockchain

When I first heard about Monad—a Layer-1 blockchain compatible with EVM that promises 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) and 1-second block times—I couldn’t resist my curiosity. The project has raised $225 million from Paradigm and is developed by former members of Jump Trading, making it impossible to ignore in the crypto space. So, when Monad officially launched its public testnet on February 19, 2025, I jumped in immediately. Here’s my experience testing out Monad.
