### Automatic differentiation in C++ ###

DAY 1: Learning some modern C++

I've been 100% programming in Python these past years doing some data science and ML/DL stuff and the last time I used C++ was when I was doing competitive programming in college, and that was C++03 😢

So I've searched for some good tutorials/courses and stumbled onto this one https://www.udemy.com/join/login-popup/?next=/course/quick-start-to-modern-c-for-programmers/. It's aimed for people needing a C++ refresher + learning some C++11 to C++23 updates.

I'm done with the important things of the course: refresher on classes, smart pointers, new std collections and functions..
I'll try to use things like smart pointers, concepts, templates (yeah I know people hate them, I'll minimize their usage) and see how this goes!

For now it hasn't been bad, but I'll need to get used to it for sure as I work on the project (starting soon!).

Nice, since I'm getting back to C++ as well, I'll try following that course as well! Did you find getting back to C++ from python hard?
