Google rolls out redesigned ‘G’ logo with gradient effect, in first update since 2015 This is the first time Google has updated its standalone 'G' icon since 2015. The redesign comes as the company doubles down on generative AI, including the launch of Gemini, its flagship AI assistant. Gemini’s logo, which features a blue to purple gradient, appears to be a precursor to this shift toward fluid, gradient-based visual elements in Google's branding.
